Donald Edward Riederer

Don was born on June 1, 1932 in Buffalo, New York. He received his bachelor's degree from Canisius College and MBA from The City College of New York. He retired from Welch Foods in 1994 and moved from North East, PA, to Spring Hill, FL. He was preceded in death by Gladys, his wife of 59 years; parents, Andrew and Bertha Riederer, brothers Alfred and Richard Riederer, and infant sister Betty Ann. He is survived by his children Donald Jr (Gretchen) Riederer, Joyce McCarthy, and Nancy (Benjie) Collins; Grandchildren Kyle and Ryan McCarthy, Megan (Hayden) Weaver, Hannah Riederer, and Avalon, Alyeska and Alexandria Collins, and Great-grandson Zachary Weaver.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on December 1st at St Joseph’s Catholic Historic Church, 4124 Loretto Road, Jacksonville, FL 32223.
