She became a Florida resident in 1975 in South Florida. Her family moved out of the country in 1978 to Saudi Arabia, where she lived for 2 years, she then came back to the US, where she attended and graduated from Florida Central Academy in Sorrento Fl. Right out of high school, Dawn moved to LaPlace, La. After a few years of being away from family, she decided to move back to Florida and relocated to Jacksonville. Dawn became a receptionist at Demetree Brothers of Jacksonville, where she met the love of her life, David Dowling. Dawn and David were married on January 7, 1989. Dawn went on to make a career for herself in the insurance field. Dawn worked for several agencies around Jacksonville. After years in the insurance field, she went back to Demetree Brothers as their receptionist again and loved it. Family was everything to Dawn. She loved spending time with her boys, being so proud of them and their accomplishments. But even more than that, she loved having her grandbabies around her. She loved to read, cook and spend time with David. Spending time with her sisters and brothers-n-law was always special.
Dawn is survived by her husband David Dowling, children: Christopher (Lacey) Robichaux of Jacksonville, Erik (Sarah) Robichaux of Orlando, Joshua (Kaleigh) Dowling of Jacksonville, grandchildren Briella Robichaux, Landon Dowling, Cason Dowling and Tytan Robichaux. Her mother Barbara Eiden, sisters Dee Dee Criss (Paul), Rhonda Murphy (Sean), Susan Key (Chas), as well as 10 nieces, 3 nephews, 4 great-nieces, 8 great-nephews and 1 great-great niece. Dawn is preceded in death by her father Louis E. Eiden and niece Shantelle Nicholle Lea Eiden.
