David Paul Switzer Jr.

David was not only a "Certified Motor Head" for most of his life but also the Senior Glazer for Auto Glass Plus for over 17 years. As a lover of Whatever Blows the Hair Back, David could always be found either on his Harley Davidson Super Glide, his Palm Beach Whitecap boat, or his Jeep Wrangler. Dyna Dave, as known by his Brothers, The Sons of The Beaches (SOBs), worked tirelessly with countless charity events benefiting his community. A Brother to so many, David never met a stranger. With all that David did, his sweetheart, Cathrine, was always beside him.

David is survived by Cathrine Lizette Switzer, his best friend, wife, and love of his life. His sons, David Yarbrough and Xavier Potts. His daughter, Elizabeth Houstoun. His grandson, David W. Yarbrough. His mother, Belinda Fowles Justice. His father, David Paul Switzer, Sr. His Bonus Mama, Arlene (Ame) Switzer. His Sisters, Christi Switzer, and Jessica Justice. His brothers, Dustin Ehli and Matthew Switzer. Numerous extended family members.

A visitation will be held for friends on Friday, July 16, 2021 at the Church of Eleven22-Baymeadows Campus, 8133 Point Meadows Dr., Jacksonville, FL 32256 beginning at 10:00am. Funeral services to begin at 11:00am at the church with interment at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32218 at 2:00pm.
