He loved his family and outdoor activities. He loved fishing, camping, scuba diving, snow skiing and snowboarding. He was an exceptional cook especially over a campfire. He earned his living painting houses and performing trim carpentry.
He is survived by his mother Pamela Coleman Pearce and her husband James L Pearce of St Johns, FL and his father Philip Arthur Potts and his wife Carolann Potts of Fleming Island, FL, his brothers Douglas Michael Potts, Franklin Wayne Pearce, Philip Curtis, Nicholas Potts, his nephew Julian Arb Potts, and several nieces. He is also survived by his aunt Lillian Potts Schein, uncles Douglas Cantrell and Robert Belvin, and his grandmother Carolyn Stinson Gearhart and her husband Franklin Gearhart.
A visitation for Daniel will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a a celebration of life at 6:00 PM.
