Cynthia “Cindy” Green Anaheim, age 52, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. She was born and raised in Jacksonville having attended Wolfson High School. She graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor’s in nursing. She was a registered nurse, most recently worked at Community Hospice of Northeast Florida. Cindy enjoyed the outdoors, loved fishing, gardening and taking photographs of nature. When fishing, she would always catch and release because of her endless love for animals. She saved birds, snakes, cats, dogs, and turtles throughout her life. Cindy was a natural born caregiver. As a hospice nurse she helped to gracefully and compassionately usher loved ones out of life with dignity and at the end of her own life she ushered others back into life by being an organ donor. She truly never stopped giving. Most of all, she was a loving wife and mother. She was the light of her daughter’s lives and their best friend, and the love of her husband’s life for 33 years. Cindy raised her two girls in the same church where she was a life-long member at San Jose Church of Christ. She was a faithful believer and loved the Lord.
Cindy leaves behind her loving husband, Scott Anaheim; their two daughters, Elizabeth and Kimberly; her sister, Susan Stein; her beloved aunt, Evelyn and several nieces, nephews, cousins and family members.
