Ascension St. Vincent’s Riverside Hospital.
He furthered his education at Jacksonville University where he attained his bachelor’s degree in English,
and later attended a graduate school to complete his studies toward earning his master’s degree in the
same program. He developed an abundance of friendships with colleagues during his time working at
countless establishments to include; Metro, the Loft, Rogue, Aromas Cigar, Wine, & Martini Bar, in
addition to his most recent place of employment, Kickbacks Gastropub. Outside of his responsibilities
related to his work, he spent the greater portion of his free time contributing to numerous charities,
fundraisers, and organizations he was dedicated to. He found joy in lending his time to anyone that
needed assistance, in any way. He was also an active member between two congregations; Celebration
Church and The Sanctuary at Mt. Calvary.
He is survived by his mother, Francine Peyton (Algernon), sisters Francine Wilson, Julie Peyton, Stacie
Peyton, his nephew, Tristan Peyton, and his two maternal aunts, Elaine Barrientos of Virginia and Selena
Holman (Johnnie) of Tallahassee, FL. He also leaves behind his loyal companion, his dog, Alexander
Wade Logan, and a host of friends that have become family to him. Prior to Clarence’s passing, he was
preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Clarence and Dorothy Bullock, and his two uncles -
Clarence Bullock Jr. and Eugene Bullock.
