Charline Johnson, 80, passed away peacefully at home in Jacksonville, FL on May 11, 2022 following heart complications.
Charline was born on December 11, 1941 to Lee W Bracken and Gladys Plunket Bracken in their family home in Louisiana. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bobby W Johnson; daughter Teresa McGowens, Jacksonville, FL; son Robert W Johnson, Cypress, TX; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Everyone whose path crossed Charline got to experience her sincere love and compassion firsthand. She especially loved and enjoyed all children. Charline enjoyed entertaining and cooking for friends and family; Friday night card games were a staple. After living around the world, Charline continued to travel, especially cruises, where she could frequently be found playing penny slots. She has an extensive spoon collection from her own, and others travels.
