Casey Dobbs Jr.

Casey Dobbs Jr., age 84, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023. Casey was born on December 18, 1939 to Casey Dobbs, Sr. and Christine Thelma Cundiff Dobbs in Melbourne, Florida. Casey honorably served in the United States Marine Corps. He worked as a truck driver and with heavy equipment as a mechanic. He was married to Monika C. Dobbs on February 1, 1968. Casey enjoyed hunting and fishing, was an outdoors man, and enjoyed NASCAR; he was also a member of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville. Casey was a loved father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Casey is survived by his children Joie Dobbs, Gary Dobbs, Regina Bennett, Pam Bauman, Sherry Dennard, and Stephanie Godsey; siblings Joey Dobbs, Rosalee Carmichael, Frances Hardee, Shirley Noles, and Terry Carpenter; ten grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Monika Dobbs; father Casey Dobbs, Sr.; mother, Christine T. Dobbs; brother, Charles Dobbs; and daughter, Patricia Dennard.

A receiving of family and friends for Casey will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Funeral Home & Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32205. A memorial service will occur Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. A committal service to follow memorial service will occur at Riverside Memorial Park.
