Remembering my dear friend Carol.  She was a beautiful, diverse, independent woman with a strong morale compass. She loved to read, travel and most of all loved her family and her fur babies, Marley and Max. We became friends while working on the HCA account while she was at Lincoln and I was at HCA.  She came to work at HCA and our 20 year friendship began as we worked and played hard. Shared stories of our children, families and life experiences and lessons. One of my fondest memories was our trip to Alaska. We went early in advance of a company commitment. Based  out of Anchorage at the Captain Cook hotel. Our adventures included sight seeing glaciers, wildlife refuge, train rides and a plane ride around Mt Denali.  A puddle jumper flight to Homer, staying at the Lands End motel, getting massages (Carol, Dottie & me) then watching the sea otters play as we had dinner looking at the ocean view with a glass of wine exchanging stories of life and family.   My second favorite is really a combination of the last year. I was out of work for about six months and during that time Carol received her diagnosis.  She and I talked several times a week.  I was able to visit her a couple of times in Jacksonville. The last was before Christmas last year. I was meal prepping and getting ready to head to the airport. Rushing to finish the last meal and pack I couldn’t find my reading glasses. Carol was at the kitchen island. I asked if she had seen where I put them. She didn’t. After about the fourth time of retracing my steps I looked at the glasses that SHE was wearing. They were mine. I pointed out the fact that hers were on the island and she had mine on. She laughed put hers on and said, “well maybe that is why I was so dizzy?” I loved her giggle laugh and impish smile and love of life. Her request to be shot  up in fireworks is so Carol. Finishing strong and a bright light for others to follow.  Until we meet again remembering you fondly. -Tammy Moore. 

I was blessed to work with Carol in Tampa for 7 years .  Carol was more than just an associate at work , She was a friend and was compassionate about those she worked with.  Her strong knowledge of the job was a influence for me to always strive to improve myself in whatever endeavor I may face. 
She will be missed by all.

My deepest sympathy to Carol's family and friends. I had the pleasure of working with Carol at HCA.  What a pleasure she was.  Always joyful and kind.  She will be greatly missed.  I was blessed to have known her.

Carol wasn’t just a client or someone I admired she was my friend. There have been people in my life that have had an influence  but Carol truly impacted me. Her knowledge, passion, pure feisty attitude and beautiful heart will forever stay with me. I will miss our long talks and her guidance but know she is in a beautiful place watching over us. Will never forget you Carol, love you. 

I was always so amazed by Carol’s ability to be a strong, driven manager at work and yet be such a joyous, loving friend to those around her. Watching her brave battle with her illness over the last year has been inspirational and she will he missed by many. 

Carol was a strong and classy woman.  I loved visiting with her and hearing the stories during her time in DC.  She led a fascinating life and will be greatly missed.

Praying peace and comfort for her family and friends.

It has been a pleasure and an honor to have worked with Carol on a couple different occasions over the last 20 years.  She was a great resource and role model.  I am rejoicing that she is in Heaven, but my heart aches for her family.  Praying for peace and comfort for all of you.

It was such a joy to work with Carol and she has been missed at HCA over this past year.  I loved our phone conversations.   Blessings and prayers for her family!

Dani, Kris & Michael I am so sorry for your loss. Some of my fondest teenage years were at your house with your mom. She was an awesome woman. She will be missed. 

Though I didn’t know you for a long time, getting to know you was a true blessing to me. You and your beautiful smile will be truly missed.
