Brittany D. Whitcomb, 21, left this temporary home to be in the arms of her Savior on May 7, 2010 in Jacksonville, FL, where she was born. She resided in St. John's with her loving family and especially enjoyed reading and going to the movies with her mom and younger sister. She was a graduate of Bartram Trail High School in 2006 and attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Brittany was a devout member of Fruit Cove Baptist Church and loved her mission trips with her church family whom loved her dearly. She was especially proud of visiting India twice and bonding with the children there. Brittany will be remembered for her beautiful smile and loving spirit and will be missed by those whose lives she touched here on earth. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her mother, Deborah (Tom Jr.) Chambers; father, John (Julie) Whitcomb; sister, Kara Chambers; grandparents, Robert Daigle, Maurice and Barbara Whitcomb, Tom Chambers Sr., many treasured aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Family will accept friends on Wednesday, May 12th from 4-8 p.m. at Hardage Giddens Mandarin Chapel, 11801 San Jose Blvd. A Celebration of Brittany's Life will be held Thursday, May 13th at 11 a.m. at Fruit Cove Baptist Church, 501 State Rd. 13 N. with interment to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
