Bobby Owens Solomon, age 48, passed away on April 10th, 2023. Bobby was born to Flossie Wright and Bruce Solomon on June 14th, 1974, in Jacksonville Florida. Bobby worked mostly as a tire mechanic for many years. Bobby loved to grill and aspired of starting his own Bar B Que restaurant “Bobby Q”.
Bobby enjoyed watching Nascar and football (Nascar mainly in his younger years when Dodge was racing) and everyone that knew him knew he was a huge Steelers fan. If you saw Bobby when he was not wearing one of his Steeler’s jackets, hat/beanie, or jerseys it was rare. Bobby also loved to fish. His stepfather Wiley Steele started him fishing when he was young and those memories that was created fishing with family and friends will forever be cherished.
Above all else Bobby loved spending time with his family and close friends (watching his niece in her go cart, hanging out with his brothers, fishing with his stepdad or daughter and son-in-law, etc.). Bobby especially loved the days and nights he would spend with his daughter and grandkids. The weeklong sleepovers he would have with his daughter and all the places “Granna” and “Pappa Boobie” would take the grandbabies together will be forever cherished in our hearts.
Bobby knew no strangers and had a huge heart. He will forever be remembered for his big heart and goofiness that never failed to make someone laugh. Bobby is survived by his daughter Brittany Solomon, son in law Ross Farrow, grandkids Alaia Adams and Arizona Farrow, wife Anna Lessig, Fathers Owen Bruce Solomon and Wiley Steele, Brothers Wiley Steele (JR), Dewayne Bias, and Owen Solomon, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that loved him and will miss him dearly. A memorial service will be held at 1pm Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. Jacksonville FL, 32211. The family will receive friends from 12pm until service time.
