Betty D. Saunders, age 85 of Orange Park, Florida passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022.
Born in Cisco, Georgia on August 26, 1937 to Tom Douthitt and Ella Wells Douthitt. Betty attended local public school and was a high school graduate.
In 1973, she married Larry Saunders on June 29th. They had one son, Kevin.
During her working years, Betty worked in Personnel and then as a Caregiver. She was very involved in her local NARFE chapters. Best of all, Betty loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Ella Douthitt and also a brother Ralph Douthitt. She is survived by her dear husband Larry Saunders, son Kevin [Nicole] Saunders and brother Paul [Mildred} Douthitt. In addition she leaves behind grandchildren Charles, Liam and Isabella Saunders.
