Anne Marie Davis, 65, Jacksonville, Florida, passed away at McGraw Hospice Center on Sunday, June 27, 2021. Anne was born in Lakehurst, NJ on July 5, 1955, the daughter of Charles and Albina (Nee: Wytovich) Titus. She graduated from Ed White High School in Jacksonville and earned an associate degree in business from Florida Community College in Jacksonville. For the past 15 years, she served as Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer of Vystar Credit Union, retiring in 2020. Anne also worked as a customer service agent for Bush Boake Allen Inc., a subsidiary of Union Camp Corp., and as a legal secretary for Coffman, Coleman, Andrew & Grogan in Jacksonville.
She served on the Board of the Riverbrook Homeowners Association. She also had a passion for her community and played a big part in the Citizens Planning Advisory Committee (CPAC), District 2.
She met Larry Lee Davis in 1993 and after many years of dating she married Larry on June 2, 2007.
Anne enjoyed spending time at the beach with family and friends, gardening, watching and feeding the deer who visited her beautiful yard, listening to country music and dancing the night away with Larry.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Larry, daughter, Dana (Trey) Freeman, grandson Caleb, siblings Diane (Ed) Collier and Stephen (Kathy) Titus, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Jacksonville. In recognition of Anne’s love for the beach, casual beach-style dress and Hawaiian shirts are welcome at the beach-themed ceremony.
