Ann C. Smith

Ann was a registered nurse and received her master’s in nursing from Yale University. She served as Director of Nursing for fifteen years in Madison, WI. After moving to FL she worked many years for the FL State Board of Nursing and later as an instructor at FCCJ School of Nursing.

After retirement, Ann and her lifelong friend, Betty, traveled extensively in their motor home visiting 49 of the fifty states and many locations in Canada. She also enjoyed being an active volunteer for several organizations.

Ann was preceded in death by a sister and brother.

Surviving are her dear friend, Betty Winkelman and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Tuesday, May 29 at 11:00 am at All Saints Episcopal Church, 4171 Hendricks Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32207.

Memorials in her name may be directed to All Saints Episcopal Church or NE FL Community Hospice.
