Ann Flack, age 84 passed away on April 2, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Moving to Jacksonville as a child, Ann loved the small town feel of the city and enjoyed spending time at the beach. She began a career at The Prudential Insurance Company and met the love of her life, Albert Flack. They were married in 1958 and quickly began building a family together. Devoting her time to raising her 4 children soon became her life’s work. She epitomized the values of selflessness and unconditional love and instilled those values in her children. She grew up in the Episcopal Church and relied on her strong faith throughout her life. Ann’s joy was contagious. She was recognized everywhere she went and was known for her kindness, compassion and witty sense of humor. Her positivity and ability to laugh at herself, at even the toughest moments, was incredibly inspiring to all who knew her. When she lost her husband of 50 years in 2009 she showed her true strength and resilience. She took great pride in her children, 11 grandchildren and 6 great‐grandchildren. She continued to put family first and never missed a performance, sporting event, birthday celebration or a trip to Costco! She shared her quiet times with her cat companion, Cliff, who she rescued from the Jacksonville Humane Society. Ann lived a beautiful and dignified life. Ann’s greatest wish would be for her family to continue to love one another, continue traditions and welcome each day with optimism.
