Anita was born in Passiac, New Jersey, graduated from Nutley High School (’61), and went on to study at Fairleigh Dickinson University. After college, she travelled to Stuttgart, Germany to work for Daimler Benz. Three years later, she was transferred back to the United States to work as a junior secretary for the executive vice president of Mercedes Benz of North America. While working there, she met Siegfried whom she married on May 4, 1968.
Soon after, Anita and Siegfried had two children Peter and Linda, and in 1976, their family relocated to Jacksonville, Florida.
Anita enjoyed camping and traveling throughout the United States and Europe with her husband. She especially loved spending time with her three grandchildren: Mikayla (15), Miranda (10), and Jakob (8). To them, she was known as “Gee-Gee”.
Anita was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will truly be missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to Community Hospice (4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257).
