Well dad it's  been almost a year and I  miss you so much what gets me thru is to know that God  said that  I  would  see  you and the rest of the family again and I  know God  sends me cardinals everyday to give me peace of mind love  you dad rest in peace until we shall see each other again 

it was always a pleasure seeing him come into walgreens. We all knew him as daddy and loved him. I will miss seeing him in the store and my heart goes out to his family

I remember the first time I met Al. I walked into his room on the far left corner of the house and he was watching the political news on FOX. He always had the TV on Trump. Alvin was a man who loved America. He would be the first one to tell you this is the greatest country in the world and he would argue with you if you said otherwise. 
Joy and I were friends first, but when she introduced me to Al I felt like I finally met my Florida family.  Eventually I met Cole, Judy, Tex, Kenny, and many more family members. They took me in like I was one of their own because I didn't have a soul down here in Florida to call family. I'm always happy to call the Johnson's family. 
When I decided to become a police officer, I decided to start at the Florida Department of Corrections. I told Joy I was thinking about applying and she told me "Do whatever makes you happy! Go talk to daddy tho. He would like to hear that." So, I went and talked to Al like I always did, I walked in, asked "How you doing today old man?" and shook his hand. 
I told him about starting out in Law Enforcement as a Correctional Officer in 2017 and he laughed and said "Son, the thing about it is, people don't respect the police anymore. Nobody cares. This world has gone to shit son. It's not like it used to be. Plus you don't want to be pulling dead bodies out of cars, that's a hard life son."
Little did I know, the old man was right.  After I graduated the Police Academy in May of 2020 I worked a fatal car crash on County Road 229 on the Bradford/Union County line and needless to say it was a tough one. I went and told Al everything I saw in detail. Al just sat there and listened like he always did and I will always cherish those conversations. He was always concerned with my mental health and would always ask if I'm "Doing okay out there?". 
When we meet in heaven oysters are on me next time, Al. 
Go visit with my great grandparents and my sister. I'm sure they'd like to meet you.

My grandfather introduced me to reading at a very young age after giving me my first comic book I spent most my summers sitting in his comic book shop with my brother behind the counter with a stack of comics each while my mom worked I loved spending time with my grandfather Saturdays we went to anchor cafe and got pancakes the size of hubcaps then to the flea market for the rest of the day he taught us how to use chopsticks and how to swim I'm going to miss him so much fly high grandpa I love you

The first memory I have of Alvin is him taking me on a motorcycle ride down old beach road from my step brother's house. I remember praying more than I have ever prayed before that I would make it home safely. Shortly after this I met my late husband Joe, finding out then that he and his family were closely acquainted with the Johnsons. Since then the Fredricksons have always been very close friends with Alvin, Evaleen, and the rest of the Johnsons.

It was always a pleasure to see Alvin while visiting Joy. He always had a big smile for me. I can see that smile now, and I smile too, because I know he's in a better place, and in peace. Joy and Eveleen so sorry for your loss. 

Mr. Johnson will truly be missed. My sincere condolences goes out to Mr. Johnson's family and friends. 

Mr. Johnson was one of my favorite patients, every time he entered the office, he would ask for his favorite girls. We always took good care of him when he came to see us. He will truly be missed. My condolences to his family and friends. XOXO
