He accomplished two years of college in the Philippines pursuing a civil engineering degree. Prior to completing his degree, he instead joined the United States Navy and served honorably for 30 years. Upon retiring, he then worked for 10 years with the US Postal Service.
He and his Family resided in Jacksonville since 1966. He was transferred between the 3 bases in Jacksonville for most of his Naval career. His last overseas duty was in Holy Loch, Scotland in the early 1980s and after the tour was completed, he chose to be stationed back in Jacksonville. In his pastime, he enjoyed tending to his farm, taking care of his chickens and goats along with his loving wife by his side. He enjoyed socializing, dancing, eating and time with his family.
He is survived by his loving Wife, Norberta, his 5 children, 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild; Agripino (Lisa, Chad, Dustinn, and Miki(Trey), Norberta (Timothy, Jesse (Meagan), and Nicole), Ariel (Divina, Ashley Anna, and Tiffany), Nenita (Mark, Heather-Marie, and Norie) and Jane (Michael and Devin).
