She was born on October 12, 1922. During her life, Agnes lived and worked in New York City while raising her three children. In 1972, she moved to South Daytona where she resided with her husband of 61 years, Thomas, until his death in 2008. She was an accomplished seamstress and quilter. Her culinary skills were well known and greatly enjoyed by family and friends.
Agnes touched many lives with her generosity, selflessness and optimism and her never ending desire to help others. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas James II, oldest daughter, Charlotte and son, Thomas James III. She is survived by daughter Karen, grandchildren Robert, Eric, Jennifer, Matthew and Julian, great-grandchildren Ava and Jake and younger sister Mary Cirillo.
A graveside memorial service will take place at three o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Oaklawn Cemetery.
