Mabel C. Hart

Mabel Clarice Hart of Jacksonville Beach passed away the morning of June 19, 2011. She was born to Mollie & Marvin VB Harrelson on Jan. 23, 1914 in Covington County, AL. She married Quinton Hart in 1934 and moved to Jacksonville in 1940 and then Jacksonville Beach in 1956. For the last six years Mabel Clarice was a resident of Avante nursing home where she made many friends and was loved by the staff. She was preceded in death by her husband Quinton Hart and her son, Kenneth Hart. Survivors include her sons, Wayne Hart of Jacksonville Beach; Van Hart (Beth) of Crestview, FL; Lamar Hart of Jacksonville Beach; and daughters, Bobbie Minton and Vonna Allen (Gene) of Jacksonville. She was blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a large extended family. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 23rd in the Chapel of Greenlawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd. The family is grateful to the nurses and CNA’s at Avante for the wonderful care Mabel Clarice received and to all of her neighbors and friends who have been such a big part of her life. Her soul was released to Heaven and her body is healed. She can now rest in peace with her heavenly family.
