Larry C. Reed

Larry Cale Reed, Sr., 78, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, February 7, 2015. He was born in Louisville, KY on March 5, 1936 to John C. and Eleanor Reed. He worked at the Jacksonville Shipyards for 20 Yrs. and retired from Load King Mfg. Co. in 2006.

His passion for sports is only surpassed by his love for his family which includes: His loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Ellen (Willis) who cared for and loved him to the end. His Children, Judy Reed Fore (Mark), Larry C. Reed, Jr. (Laura), Michael Reed, Amy Reed O’Bryan. Grandsons: Matthew Bowling (Danielle), Lucas and Connor Fore, Cale and Colton Reed. Great Grandsons: Ryan and Owen Bowling, Cameron Reed, (all from Jacksonville, FL), Sister, Donna Sue Marrs (Pete), Niota, TN. We will miss his sense of humor, but mostly the Love and Support he provided for all of us.

The family would like to thank Ana Sanchez, Iris Sirois, Linda Kennedy, and Mike Campbell of Community Hospice of NE FL for the support and loving care they provided.
