Don was such a people person who loved life & retirement. You could always hear his contagious, infectious laugh everywhere.
Don was born on September 19, 1951 in Peekskill, NY to Helen & Donald Tandy. He had a very lucrative sales career with Carlisle(Tensolite) Co. and a short, but successful stint at the A.E. Petshe Co. He won many awards and accolades including a free trip to Maui.
Don attended Monmouth University in Long Branch, NJ where he became an avid Bruce Springsteen fan & we would go to concerts. When he was driving his retirement present (a Chevy Camaro convertible) all he would listen to was Bruce.
Don enjoyed playing golf & going to our club with his buddies for lunch and drinks.
Don was preceded in death by his parents & many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife, Christie, & his beloved 22 year fur baby Clyde. He still has several cousins living in NY.
A Celebration of Life to honor Don will take place at the JGCC clubhouse on Sunday, July 17th from 4 to
6pm.
