William Brandon (Billy) Greene

He was born in Memphis, TN on March 11, 1964, to Shirley and Robert Greene, Sr. Billy was a 1982 graduate from Craigmont High School in Memphis, TN. He lived in Panama City, Florida, working in construction and at Home Depot most of his adult life before returning to Memphis and Jackson, TN, where he worked for Kellogg’s as a mechanic.

He leaves his brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry and Mary Greene of Oakland, TN; Robert, Jr. and Sally Greene of Memphis, TN; sister, Lisa Greene Harris of Millington, TN; his aunt Barbara Vincent of New Orleans, LA; nephews: Terry Greene, Jr. and Johnathon Harris (Lindsey Bass); nieces: Michelle Wampler, Jennifer (John) Ledbetter, and Jessica Harris (Reggie Norfleet); great nieces and nephews: Lillyann Greene, Riley Ledbetter, George and Joseph Wampler, Harrison Norfleet, Giovanni and Cameron Harris; and a host of beloved cousins and friends, and his companion Catahoula Cur, Patches.

His parents, Bob and Shirley Greene, and sister Frances Greene Tate preceded him in death.

A memorial service for Billy will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 11 am at Highland Memorial Gardens. Inurnment will follow the service in the mausoleum at Highland Memorial Gardens.
