W. Clarence Ledford

He was born in Baytown, TX on April 11, 1934 to the late Wilbur George Ledford and Virginia Duggar Ledford. He retired after many years as a salesman for Proctor and Gamble. He served his country in the U.S. Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Josephine Levy Ledford; daughter, Micke McFadden and her husband, Don; and his brother, Bill Ledford.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Ledford of Sugar Tree, TN; children, Margo Presson (Terry) of Milan, TN, Melinda Duncan (Jeff) of Spring Hill, TN, and Lance Ledford (Ruth) of Jackson; step daughters, Terri Baudo (Steve) of Lexington, SC and Julie Weaver (Tim) of Saltillo, MS; grandchildren, Ashley Bartlett (Jason), John Presson, Megan Duncan Pratt (Brian), Drake Duncan, Mitchell Duncan, Joe Ledford, Sarah Coleman (Zach), and Joshua Ledford; great grandchildren, Aubrey Barlett, Nathan Bartlett, Kinsley Duncan, Emery Duncan, and Martese Coleman; step grandchildren, Courtney Golder (Seth), Alex Baudo (Rosie), Tatum Weaver, Jaelyn Weaver, and Wesley Weaver (April); and one step great grandchild, Crixus Weaver, Abram Golder, Jemma Golder, Carmi Golder, Ellie Baudo, Gianca Baudo, Sean Baudo, Dominic Baudo, and Alana Baudo.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 1-3 p.m. in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with a funeral service following at 3 p.m.

The interment will be held at 5 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery, 155 Bohannon Landing Rd., Sugar Tree, TN 38380.
