He was born on March 13, 1980 in Jackson, TN, the son of Ronnie Williamson, Sr. and Teresa Ann Fish Williamson.
To know Shawn was to love him. Like most of the Williamson clan, Shawn was a very likable person. He was always so full of excitement and had a kind loving sprit. He was a beautiful mixture of dynamite! lol...to say the least
Additionally, he was a very talented worker, some may even refer to him as a modern day "McGiver".
Shawn enjoyed working with his hands and would build things that most would struggle with, but it was so natural for him. It appeared to be so easy for him. Shawn was the strongest man I knew mentally, physically & emotionally, He gave a little piece of his heart to everyone he met. The life he lived was more than wild but so meaningful as well. Shawn lived by the motto work hard but play harder & that he most certainly did.
Shawn was very proud of what he considered to be his best legacy, "His girls" & his family. To Shawn, they were and always would be the best! Throughout life, his admiration of his family was very noticeable, but what he may have not realized was how his family and friends admired him. He was everything a daughter could ever wish for in a father. There were many reasons that his family had such admiration for Shawn. One particular thing, is one of most importance, was the love he had for our Lord Jesus Christ. Shawn's Brother, Ronnie recently said to someone, "I always admired Shawn and his ability to be close to the Lord. When he prayed and said the blessing, it would come so naturally to him." And if you knew Shawn personally, you knew that he was far from perfect, but you also knew where he stood in his faith.
Shawn is survived by his daughters, Madison Delaney Williamson of Gilbert, AZ and Rebecca Neveah Leigh Williamson of Jackson, TN; his granddaughter, Eimhearsten Alaska Leigh Williamson; his parents, Ronnie and Teresa Williamson; and his brother, Ronnie Glynn Williamson, Jr. (Amy Lachae) and his children, Jordan Lachae Williamson and Dalton Edward Englet.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with burial in Big Springs Cemetery near Medon.
We knew little that day, that God was going to call his name.
In life we loved Shawn dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, yet you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories; Your love is still our guide.
Although we cannot see you, You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.
But has God calls us one by one, our chain will link again.
It is never goodbye, but rather, until we meet again.
