She was born on May 17, 1934 in Jackson, TN to the late Frank and Velma McGlaghlin Stafford. Mrs. Moore worked as an LPN in the Operating Room at Jackson General Hospital for 35 years. She was also a member of Poplar Heights Baptist Church. She was a loving lady who enjoyed talking and visiting with people whenever she could.
Mrs. Moore is preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Moore.
She is survived by her children, Rosemary Miller (Sherman) of Gautier, MS, Teresa Dickerson (Jim) of Biloxi, MS, and Don King (Becky) of Jackson, TN; one granddaughter, Sherie Sekul (Shane) of Gautier, MS; and a sister, Bernice Matlock of Jackson, TN.
Funeral services for Mrs. Moore will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 1 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel with Dr. Philip Jett officiating. Interment will follow the service at Highland Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel, two hours prior to the service.
