Rosa Beauton Ezell

Mrs. Rosa B. Ezell, age 90, of Jackson passed away from this life on August 24, 2010.

Mrs. Ezell was born on October 18, 1919 to the late Frank and Ida Phillips. She was a long time member of Bemis United Methodist Church and retired from the Bemis Cotton Mill, where she worked for many years.

She is survived by her son Chuck Ezell and wife Gwen of Lexington, SC, a granddaughter, Mollie Beth Ezell of Tallahassee, FL and a sister, Eunice Higgins of Jackson, TN.

Other than her Parents, Mrs. Ezell was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Charles Ezell, 7 sisters and 2 Brothers.

Visitation for Mrs. Ezell will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2010 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the South Chapel of George A Smith and Sons. Visitation will resume at 12:00 pm on Friday, August 27, 2010 at the Bemis United Methodist Church. The service will be held 1:00 pm the church at with Rev. Steve Ingram and Rev. Gary Morse officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Danny Eason, Gary Higgins, Carey Phillips, Buddy Rogers, George Siebold, Mike Mincher, David Patrick and Ronnie Patrick.

Memorials may be made to the Bemis United Methodist Church.
