She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Herman Alexander; daughters: Phyllis (Bill) Robinson, Nancy Conner, and son Mark (Debbie) Alexander; seven grandchildren: Lee Conner, Amy Conner, Matthew (Jessica) Conner, Chris (Alicia) Robinson, Michael (Melissa) Robinson, Cheryl Alexander & Hannah Alexander and seven great-grandchildren: Raina, Reagan, Kendall, Audrey, Luke, Alissa & Isaac.
Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by her parents Kate & Jimmy Rogers and Roy Jones, son Joe Alexander and son-in-law Ike Conner.
The services will be held Saturday, Nov. 5 at Smith Funeral Home South at 2:00pm with visitation on Friday from 5:00-8:00 pm. Burial will follow at Hollywood Cemetery. Pallbearers are Chris Robinson, Bill Robinson, Michael Robinson, Matthew Conner, Lee Conner and Louis Woodard.
