Mrs. Louise Forsythe Henley, age 80, of Beech Bluff, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 23, 2014 surrounded by her family at her residence in Beech Bluff. She is at home with her Lord and Savior.Funeral services for Mrs. Henley will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home with Bro. Edgar Pierce officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.Active pallbearers to serve will be Jimmy, Gary, Jessie, Larry, and Tommy Forsythe, and Brandon and Justin Henley.Louise lived a full life serving her Savior and will forever be with the one who died on the cross for her. She thanks Him for a life that could have never been without him. Louise was blessed to have the opportunity to be a nurse at UT Family Practice for over 14 years and was thankful for the many friends she has made and continued to have. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Pauline Reeves; her children's father, Marvin Forsythe; and her step children's father, Everett Henley.She was a former member of Pleasant Plains Baptist Church and a current member of Friendship Baptist Church at Beech Bluff for many years.Louise leaves behind two sons, Marvin Forsythe (Pam) of Sugar Tree, TN and Terry Forsythe (Carol) of Holly Springs, MS; one daughter, Yvonne Neubert (Jason) of Knoxville, TN; two granddaughters, Andrea Frazier of Jackson, TN and Chesney Neubert of Knoxville, TN; two great grandchildren; four step children, Harold Henley, Bobby Henley (Betty), Scarlett Johnson (Silas), and Lisa Bari (Sidney) all of Madison County, TN; many step great and step great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.Louise had 29 foster children over several years, one very special one, Jay Young.She also leaves three sisters, Helen Davis of Springville, TN, Sherry Stephens (Danny) of Buchanan, TN, Ruth Ann Davis (Bob) of Springville, TN; and one brother, Joe Reeves (Pat) of Dover, TN.Visitation with the family will be held on Monday evening, October 27, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. in the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home.
