Leslie Ann Powell passed away peacefully on October 17, 2024, at her sister’s home in Jackson, TN. She was 65 years old.
Leslie was born on February 20, 1959, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Wendell and Carol Powell. She was a dedicated College Admissions Advisor for Concorde Career College in Memphis, where she spent many years guiding students through the often-challenging financial aid and admissions processes. Her care and commitment to her work helped shape the futures of countless students, leaving a lasting impact on many lives.
She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Dennis Frappier.
Leslie is survived by her loving parents, Carol and Wendell Powell; her devoted sister, Tracy Powell Frappier; her nephew, Devin Frappier (Laura); and her great-niece, Autumn Frappier.
In accordance with Leslie’s wishes, her remains will be cremated, and no public services will be held. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
