Jerry Paul Davis

Jerry was born on January 29, 1943 in Hohenwald, TN to the late James William and Elsie Louise Stutts Davis. He served his country in the United States Navy in the Vietnam War. He was a long-time active member of New Life Tabernacle.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Sheila Davis and brother, Thomas Davis.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sue Helen Grimm Davis of Jackson; his sisters, Linda Yarbrough, Connie Branch (Bobby), and Marlene Kee; his brothers, Dwight Davis (Sandra) and Ronnie Davis (Dorinda); and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at New Life Tabernacle, 387 Lawrence Switch Rd., Jackson.

The funeral service will commence at 1 p.m. with Bro. Glen Thompson and Bro. Travis Grimsley officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers to serve will Kyle Nevel, Mike Hale, John McDonald, Bobby Branch, David Davis, Greg Grimsley, Evan Thompson, and Chandler Thompson.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be directed to New Life Tabernacle, 3887 Lawrence Switch Rd., Jackson, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
