Glenn was born on March 25, 1947 in Britt, Iowa, the son of the late Roy Wayne Dunn and Andrea Pedersen Dunn. He grew up on the family farm in Iowa until he and his parents moved to Jackson in 1985 to be closer to their daughter and her family. Glenn worked for many years at the McDonalds on North Highland as a dining room attendant until his retirement. He also attended the Madison Haywood Development Center and worked in their workshop. Glenn loved to do latchwork and won ribbons for his crafts at the West Tennessee State Fair. He also enjoyed working at the 4-H Chicken Shack at the fair.
In addition to his parents, Glenn is preceded in death by his siblings, Alice Dunn and Chester Dunn.
He is survived by his two sisters, Marjory Andrea Stumpenhorst (Ken) of Jackson, TN and Iris May Bittner (Jim) of Rolla, MO; his nephews, Timothy Stumpenhorst (Jeanette), Kevin Stumpenhorst (Misty), Bruce Bittner (Rebeka), David Bittner, Scott Bittner (Daisy), Stephen Bittner, and Karen Ulrich (Glen) and a host of great nieces and nephews and extended family.
Graveside services for Glenn will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Browns Cemetery with Rev. John White of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will follow the service.
