Doris Earline (Davis) Alexander

Doris was born on June 4, 1932 in Obion County, TN to the late Homer and Hazel Davis. Mrs. Alexander worked as a retail sales associate at Sears in the candy department and at Trulls where she was loved by many. She later went on to own Doris’ Fitness and Fashion. She was a loving mother and caring grandmother who loved her family immensely. Doris was also a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her sister, Lillian Davis Hicks and her brother, Edward Davis.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl Morgan and Susan Alexander of Jackson; grandchildren, Chase Morgan (Olivia), Katlyn Williams, Ray Alexander (Erin), and Dylan Alexander; and her great grandchildren, Barrett Morgan and Easton Morgan, Paislee Simmons, Peyton Deaton, Lila Alexander and Jackson Alexander.

Graveside services for Mrs. Alexander will be Wednesday, January 10, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Browns Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., prior to the service.
