Kay was born on March 29, 1954 in Bowling Green, KY, the daughter of the late Willis Ray Warmath and Eleanor Barker Warmath. Kay is a special one of a kind soul with a selfless heart. She had a bright light that everyone saw when they were with her. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was a best friend and a wonderful listener. Her brown eyes held genuine love for her husband. Her feisty and free spirit mothered her two daughters teaching them the beauty of life held in God’s grace. She is going to be truly truly missed and there will never be another to replace her.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Long of Jackson, TN; her daughters, Holly Jackson (Greg) and April Berkley (Steve); three grandchildren, Ella Grace Lancaster, Ashlyn Berkley, and Luke Berkley; and her brother, Ken Warmath (Judy).
