Barbara passed away peacefully on Friday, June 20, 2014 at her residence in Lexington.
Barbara was born on September 11, 1944 in Jackson, TN, the daughter of the late Homer and Annie Lee Follis Yelverton. She was a CNA Home Health Caregiver for 16 years.
She is survived by her husband, Edd Junior Worley; a son Chris Tubbs (Ginger) of Watertown, TN; a daughter, Tracy Brister (Keith) of Parsons, TN; sister, Wanda Emerson of Jackson; two brother, Charles Yelverton of Lenoir City, TN and Dennis Yelverton of Jackson; nine grandchildren, McKenzie Hull, Jessica Tubbs, Landon Tubbs, Sutherlane Tubbs, Sara Beth Tubbs, Weston Tubbs, Joshua Brister, Kimberly Brister, and Emily Brister; four great grandchildren, Carson Hull, Abel Hull, Braxton Brister, and Bryson Brister.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 beginning at 11 a.m., one hour prior to the service.
