Visitation services for Arthur Morris Carver, age 83, are scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home North. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 8 at Highland Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Carver was preceded in death by his parents, Omie.A. Carver and Ottie Jewel Carver, along with ten brothers and sisters.
He is survived by two daughters, Kathie Tracy and Brenda Elgin (Sammy) of Jackson; son, Austin Shields of San Diego; granddaughters, Amie Chandler (Marcus), Angela Woods, and Amber Barton; grandson, Ryan Fincher; great-granddaughter, Jasmin Holt; siblings, Gary Carver of Jackson and Judy Egbert of Pittsboro, Indiana. He also leaves behind many nephews, nieces and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the TN Veterans Home in Humboldt, TN.
