Mary L. Denham

Visitation will be Sunday, June 5, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Lakewood Funeral Home, Clinton Boulevard, Jackson, MS with a service following at the Lakewood Memorial Cemetery pavilion.

Mary was born in Summit, MS on February 4, 1929, to Mattie Lewis and Joseph R. Lewis. She worked for Bell South in Natchez and Jackson, retiring as a supervisor after 36 years.

She was a faithful member of Grace Primitive Baptist Church, Brandon, MS.

Mary was married to the love of her life, Bill Denham. She enjoyed being with her family and her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, parents, sisters, Mildred Terrell, Azaylee Wilkinson, and brothers, Fred Lewis, Lonnie Lewis, Winfred Lewis, and Joe Hewitt Lewis.

Mary is survived by a son, Steve (Nancy Kaye) Denham, grandson, Colton Denham, and granddaughter, Victoria Denham. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and her friend Carolyn Shorter.
