Jerry Pittman, 78, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at his home in Jackson. Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 10 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park on Wednesday at 4:00 PM.

Mr. Pittman was born on April 8, 1940 to the late Charles “Murphy” and Edna Morgan Pittman. He was a member of Big Black Hunting Club.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Pete, Charles, Denman, Harold, Ronnie and Shirley Brooks.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Pittman Stevens; granddaughter, Allison Sims; wife, Jeanette Pittman; nephews, Doug Pittman and Kenny Pittman (Lisa); nieces, Margaret Sullivan (Wayne) and Anna Williams (Tom); and other extended family.
