Ella Mae Hammack

A visitation for Ella will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home, 6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, Mississippi 39209. A visitation will occur Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM.

Ella will be laid to rest in Lakewood Memorial Park, 6000 Clinton Blvd., Jackson, Mississippi 39209.

Ella enjoyed arts and crafts and sewing baby quilts. She was Baptist by Faith.

Ella was preceded in death by her parents, Forest Lee Childers and Effie King Childers; husband, William H. Hammack; brothers, Donald Childers and Frankie Childers and sister, Mary Varner.

She is survived by sons, James Bradley Hammack (Monica) and William Howard Hammack; brothers, William "Bill" Childers,James Childers (Shelby), John Childers, Charles "Chip" Childers and Cameron Childers (Donna); sisters, Jean Bray, Joyce Layton (James) and Judie Bailey; grandchildren, James Adam Hammack (Lauren), Jessica Sprinkle (James), Drew Lindley (Taylor), Christy Hammack, Makayla Martin (Cade);great grandchild, Jase Martin and numerous nieces and nephews.
