Of Jackson, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at the age of 65. He is survived by his father, Freemon Martin; three sisters, Patricia Necole Martinnabavi, Alfreeda Martin Ross and Robin Nicole Martin-Bremby; many nieces, nephews and loving family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gracie Martin; brother, Randy Michael Martin. Ricky was born in Jackson, Michigan on May 5, 1959 and attended Parkside High School. He was a loving son, brother and uncle. He enjoyed sports and playing pick-up basketball games. He spent his career as a painter and enjoyed dancing with the Shabatinos break dancing group. He had a strong Faith in the Lord and was always willing to help others when he was able to. He will be greatly missed. A service to celebrate his life will be held at Burden & Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home (1806 E. Michigan Ave. Jackson, 49202) on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until time of service. He will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery.
