Marilyn was born on December 7, 1944, in Jackson, MI to the late Doc and Madge Jones. Marilyn was a 1962 graduate of Vandercook Lake High School. She spent her life as a hairdresser and homemaker. She was a member of the Yorktown Legion Women’s Auxiliary. Marilyn’s greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Mike Kashi; two sons, Mike Kashi II (wife Delia) and Steven Kashi (wife Lesley); nine grandchildren, Hailey, Austin, Sadie, Kaylee, Jaden, and Devan Kashi, and Jerry, Joylynn, and Jason Fang; six great-grandchildren, Grayson, Harper, Remey, and Clementine Kashi, and Ophelia and Lincoln Wallace; a sister, Joy Moss; a brother, Brent Jone (wife Bonnie); and several nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was preceded in death by a son, Chad Joseph Kashi; and two brothers, Bo and Roger Jones.
A funeral service to celebrate Marilyn’s life will be held at Burden & Patience-Montgomery funeral Home at 6:00 pm Monday, April 1, 2024, with visitation from 4:00PM until time of service, per her wishes cremation will take place after services.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Yorktown American Legion Post# 321, 2110 S. Broadway St., Yorktown, IN 47396.
