Karen Lou Sabo

Of Jackson, passed away at the age of 72 on Thursday, March 27, 2014. She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Sunday, daughter, Ruth Sunday; granddaughter, Ellen Lindquist and sister, Velda K. Dimuzio. She is survived by her longtime partner, Gerald Nease; five children, Diana Vinson, Donna Lindquist, Marty Sunday, Paul Sabo and Charles Sabo; nineteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; brothers, Jim (Kim) Fairley, Pat Fairley, Tom Richardson and Ed Richardson. Karen was born July 17, 1941 to Donald and Thelma (Hill) Fairley as well as many nieces, nephews, loving friends and family members. . She spent her working career with the Jackson County Tax Assessment office. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary V.F.W. the Moose Lodge and Eagles 612. She loved her family and was a proud working woman. She touched the hearts of many and will be greatly missed. A celebration of her life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 1:00P.M. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7P.M. She will be laid to rest at Roseland Memorial Gardens.
