Donna Mae Bromley

Of Jackson, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the age of 94. With her family at her side. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Claire “Herb” Bromley; son, Ricky Bromley and her three sisters. She will be remembered by her three children, Patricia Friday, JoAnne (Phillip “Barney”) Leece and Steve (Violet) Bromley; seven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren as well as great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews; loving family members and friends. Donna Mae was born in Coldwater, Michigan on February 4, 1930 to James “Bob” and Elnona Cary and attended Jackson Public Schools. She married Claire “Herb” Bromley on June 29, 1946 and together they raised their family. She was extremely proud to have kept a nice home for her family and raising her children to have manners and respect was a wonderful accomplishment for her. She enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family. She touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed. According to her wishes there will be a Private Service held for her family and she will be laid to rest with her husband at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family would like to acknowledge Robert and the staff at Henry Ford Health in Jackson for the kind and compassionate care they provided.
