Of Rives Junction, passed away at the age of 90 on Monday, November 25, 2019. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Densmore; son, Dale Densmore Jr., daughter, Susan Densmore-Howard; siblings, Helen Barton, Ed Densmore Jr., Anna Belle Reynolds and Goldie Garrison. He is survived by his loving companion of twenty years, Jean Teachout; daughter, Christine Densmore; son, Ron Densmore; grandchildren, Jason (Nikki) Densmore, Scott Densmore, Richard Densmore and Steven Skeens; great grandchildren, Madalyn, Angelica, Jordan, Elijah, Ayden and ZaeTvion; siblings, Donna (Leon) Hinderer and Russell (Pat) Densmore, as well as nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Dale was born to Ed and Mildred (Dunn) Densmore in Rives Junction on April 29, 1929. He attended Smith school and then proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. After his honorable discharge, he returned to Jackson. He worked for the Railroad then married Betty Hittenrauch and together they raised a family. After working for a manufacturing company, he and his partners started, DEMERI Machine Co. Inc. Dale enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, riding his ranger, the game of chance, traveling to the casino and spending time with family. He will be greatly missed. A service honoring his life will be held at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Followed by Military Honors. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the time of service. He will be laid to rest At Draper Cemetery.
