Brenda Jean Weese

Of Jackson, passed away at her home on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at the age of 64 while under the care of her family and Gentiva Hospice. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Thomas Weese; her three sons, David (Rebecca), John (Jennifer) and Jason (Lucy) Weese; three grandchildren, Tyler, Daniel and Hannah; mother, Mary Hartzog; siblings, Cindy (Ron) Siegrist, Tammy (Gary) Singer, Debbie (Edward) Weese, Barb (Jimmy) Singer, Kenneth Hartzog and Sue (Bill) Weese as well as many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends and special niece, Jessica Hutchins. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Hartzog. Brenda was born to Raymond and Mary Hartzog in Jackson, Michigan on January 10, 1959 and she attended Jackson Public Schools. She married Thomas Weese on April 25, 1975 and together they raised their family. Brenda was a talented Crafter. She enjoyed making things for others and was always willing to help when she was able to. She was proud of her three sons and loved her grandchildren. According to her wishes cremation has been selected and there will be a service at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2023 to honor her life at Loomis Park Baptist Church (2301 N. Elm Ave. Jackson, 49201). The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the Service.
