Marjorie Naomi Bailey

Marjorie Naomi Bailey, age 76, born August 19, 1938, died February 7, 2015. Ms. Bailey was a resident of Wagarville, AL where she was a member of Wagarville Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Ms. Bailey is survived by her children, Allen (Lesa) Bailey, Bryan (Doris) Bailey, Betty Ann (Jesse) Malone and Joe Bailey all of Wagarville, AL; siblings, Vera Johnson of Prattville, AL, Dean (Sybil) Daugherty of Leroy, AL and Morris (Patsy) Daugherty of St. Stephens, AL; grandchildren, Jackquelin (Ashley) Elmore, Jake (Carrie) Bailey, Jenny Bailey, Jessie Bailey, Naomi Bailey, Rachael Bailey, Sarah Bailey, Micah Bailey, Justin (Ashley) Sullivan, Patrick Wilson, Kristen (Brent) Richardson, Leslie Parnell, Paul Malone, Leigh Wright and Jamie Malone; great-grandchildren, Jacob Elmore, Kacey Elmore, Garrett Bailey and Finley Richardson. She is preceded in death by her parents, Purvis and Lucille Daugherty; brother, Johnny Daugherty; granddaughter, Kristy Parnell.

Services will be Monday, February 9, 2015 at McIntosh United Methodist Church with visitation from 10:30 am until 11:30 am and the funeral service at 11:30 am. Brother Earl Watson will officiate and Lathan Funeral Home will direct. Interment will immediately follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jake Bailey, Ashley Elmore, Patrick Wilson, Jacob Elmore, Tony Dean and A J Daugherty. Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Donald, Dane Daugherty, Darrell Daugherty, Rob Johnson, Purvis Johnson, Wille Daffen, Justin Sullivan and Scottie Dorman.
