Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Dunbar Funeral Home – Dutch Fork Chapel. The family with receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Bill was born in Lancaster County to the late Lance and Nannie Catoe Bradley on March 17, 1937. After graduating from Lancaster High School, he served his country proudly in the United States Air Force as a Tactical Instructor and later in Flight Line Air Maintenance.
From early 1960s to 1971 he was called into Baptist Ministries and led several churches in South Carolina.
After retiring from ministry, he began a career in Food Service and Hospitality Management where he opened new franchise locations, oversaw new restaurant construction and managed operations from fast food to private clubs. It was during retirement where Bill found his favorite job - delivering auto parts for CarQuest.
Bill was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church where he previously served as a council member and was active in the Men’s Group. He will be remembered for his dry sense of humor and his green thumb. He was an exceptional cook, enjoyed fishing, and travelling.
Survivors include his devoted and loving wife of 43 years, Eleanor Bradley; four sons, Chris Bradley, Mike Bradley (Patsy), Tim Bradley (Stephanie), and Matt Bradley (Hillary); six grandchildren, Ryan Bradley, Erin Teal, Leigh Ann Bradley, Brandon Bradley, Tanner Bradley, the precious, Clara Lee Bradley; three great-grandchildren, Jay Teal, Caylie Teal , Wyatt Teal; and two brothers, Tony Bradley (Judy) and Joel Bradley (Joyce).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s honor to the American Alzheimer’s Association.
