COLUMBIA - A Celebration of Life service for Talia Jade Tribble, 19, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the funeral home.
Talia passed away as a result of a motorcycle accident on Broad River Road on Friday morning at 10:30 am, April 21, 2023. Born in Lexington, SC, on September 27, 2003, she was the daughter of Adrienne Lewandowski and Bryant Tribble. Talia played softball for Friarsgate Rec League in 2014. While a student at Dutch Fork Middle School, she was crowned Ms. Junior Silver Fox in March 2018. She also played the violin while at H E Corley Elementary School and DF Middle School. She attended Dutch Fork High School where she played JV softball and graduated from SC Whitmore Online School in December 2020 1 ½ years ahead of schedule. She later graduated from the Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology’s esthetics program. Talia loved her family, many friends, and seven cats. She also loved Rudy, her motorcycle. Always kind to everyone she met, Talia marched to the beat of her own drum. A lifetime dream of Talia’s was to open a cat sanctuary. Her mom, Aunt Kristen and Mom Mom Lewandowski will make this a reality in Talia’s memory. Talia was currently working as a waitress at Longhorn Steakhouse on Harbison Blvd.
Surviving are her mother, Adrienne Ann Lewandowski, father, Bryant Tribble, maternal grandparents, Frank and Julia Lewandowski (nee Froggatt), aunt, Kristen Lewandowski, cousin, Avery Brawley, her Cioci Maggie and great Uncle Joe Mrsic, many, many aunts, uncles and cousins on her mother’s side of the family who reside in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Georgia and Colorado; Aunt Sharon Stone, and Aunt Ellen Cooper. On her father’s side, Talia has several half brothers and sisters, Lamon Tribble, Elizabeth Williams, Tabias Brooks, Malcolm Jones, Bryant Antwain Tribble, Lee Emanuel Tribble, Rache Tribble, Tyler Duncan, Branden Asby, Uncle James and Aunt Christine Tribble, Aunts Lynnetta Chisholm, Julia Hawkins, Francis Morris and Jacqueline Nance; cousins Brittany, Ojore, Jakevius, Krister and Frank Tribble; and a host of nieces and nephews. Talia is also survived by very special friends, Breanna Brown, Nicholas Tanner, Wilson Corley, Ari Ellisor, Jess Glathar, Ella Helms, Gianna Holmes, Shane Ritter-Richardson, Nichole Ward, and many others too numerous to name.
Talia is predeceased by her paternal grandfather and grandmother, Johnny Frank Tribble and Mary Elizabeth Tribble, Babci and Dziadzi Frank and Ann Lewandowski. She is also predeceased by a very special friend and hair stylist, Ms. Allison Bodden; her dog, Lily, cats, Tux, Little Boy and Shim. Talia is a descendent of Coleman Livingston Blease who served as the 89th governor of South Carolina from 1911 to 1915 and as a United States senator from 1925 to 1931.
