IRMO - Funeral service for Sheila Nelson Seppamaki will be held on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at New Life Community Church. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Muskegon, Michigan. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel is assisting the family with local arrangements. Mrs. Seppamaki passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014. Born in Muskegon, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Ernest and Gladys Gustafson Nelson. Sheila was a member of New Life Community Church where she was very active. She was a graduate of Muskegon High School where she was in the National Honor Society. Sheila retired in 2003 from Carolina Home Therapeutics following many years of service. She was a quiet gentle spirit who loved everyone, especially the children. Surviving are her husband of 49 years, John W. Seppamaki; her daughters, Kathryn Seppamaki Milliron; Lisa Seppamaki Locklair (John); son, J.R. Seppamaki (Rebecca); grandchildren, Raven Seppamaki, T.J. Seppamaki, Jordan Miler, Joshua Locklair; brother, Joseph Nelson, Jr.; and sister, Karan Nelson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Life Community Church, 10809 Broad River Road, Irmo, SC 29063.
