Roger was born on November 12, 1941, to J. Elmo and Kathryn Crouch. He attended Clemson University and was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church.
Roger loved his life and lived it to the fullest. His life’s profession was in the construction industry and in 1983, he founded Crouch Construction Company, for which his achievements were many. During his life he served on numerous boards and belonged to many clubs and organizations.
Anyone who knew Roger knew of his passion for fast boats. He was happiest on the water. Roger loved to travel and shared many good times with his wife and friends. He always had a helping hand for anyone in need and was the “ROCK” of his family.
In addition to his wife, Donna, he is survived by sons, Scott Crouch, Shannon Crouch of Columbia, Chance Crouch of Goose Creek, Skeet Crouch (Aimee) of Lexington, and daughter, Alison Weaver (Luke) of Fort Mill, seven grandchildren, and brother, Henry Crouch of West Columbia. Also he leaves behind brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Bonnie Derrick, and Randy and Teresa Epting. He was pre-deceased by grandson, Scott Roger Crouch, and sister-in-law, Phyllis Crouch.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021, 11:00 a.m. in Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery, White Rock, S.C.
A celebration of Roger’s life will be held at a later date on his beloved lake.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church, PO Box 367, White Rock, SC 29177, The Parkinson’s Foundation or charity of one’s choice.
